2 Kings 24

The Lord sends Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, to assault and subjugate Jerusalem.

  • Compare verse 3 with Deuteronomy 28:36–37, 49–50.
  • Note how even while God’s prophets preached and His judgment fell that the kings did evil (vv. 9, 19).
  • Whose land was Israel on? Read verse 20 in that light.
