2 Kings 22

2 Kings 22—Good king Josiah leads in repairing the temple and the Law is found and read. Josiah repents and God answers.

  • As you read verse 8, think about this: How was life and worship ordered without God’s Word (think of the period during the Judges)?
  • Why did Josiah tear his clothes (v. 11)? What does that mean and convey?
  • From the context of verse 13, what is meant by “our fathers have not listened to the words of this book”?
