Job 31

In Job’s last speech he maintains his uprightness in his character and actions.

  • As you read this chapter, note specific aspects of Job’s character as described in 1:18; 2:3.
  • There is debate today about whether Adam was a real person or not. How would Job respond to that?
  • Job’s point and assertion has been that he has not deserved this suffering because he has done nothing wrong, whereas his friends have said the opposite.
