Nehemiah 6

The Jews’ enemies go to great lengths to thwart the rebuilding efforts but God helps the Jews to finish the work.

  • How did Satan try to stop God’s people from obeying Him?
  • Nehemiah was not controlled by circumstances or emotions (vv. 8–9). What did control him?
  • Note the enemies’ reversal of emotions in verse 16. By God’s grace and for His glory the faith and obedience of God’s people brought God’s results.
