1–6 God knows me perfectly
7–12 God cannot be escaped
13–18 God gave and determines life
19–24 God demands absolute loyalty

• Think on the truths of verses 1–12 in light of the closing prayer (vv. 23–24).
• The point of verses 13–16 is that God knows you intimately because he created you.
• Verses 19–22 is the psalmist’s declaration of allegiance to the one true God. Think back to Psalm 1—why is such devotion important?
