Uzziah initially seeks God and thus prospers, but he becomes proud and enters the temple as a priest, but God strikes him with leprosy.

• What condition was needed for God’s blessing (v. 5)? What did it mean to seek the Lord (note the context)?
• Read verse 16. How could you and your church repeat this?
• There is a great and terrible lesson to learn in verses 16–21, the danger of pride. Ask the Lord to guard you and others from it!
