Job repents of his demanding posture and God declares and describes His sovereign power.

  • How has Job’s attitude changed from 31:37?
  • Earlier (chapters 21, 24) Job complained that God seemed to just let the wicked go. In verses 8–14 who must Job trust?
  • God illustrates His power (v. 9) by a powerful creature (vv. 15ff).
  • Has God either answered Job’s questions or condemned him? What is God establishing?
